Our most popular tour! The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, you will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. Next, we will visit the hot springs of the volcano, where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. Poas Volcano
The Poás Volcano is one of the world's largest geysers with an awesome crater, over 1.5 km. wide! The volcano is active, but completely safe for viewing. This tour begins with a beautiful drive through the lush coffee plantations and flower farms of the area. In addition to the volcano, the Poás National Park is a 9,884-acre reserve with rich tropical vegetation and animal life. The tour includes a hike through the surrounding forest that is teeming with typical plant life and exotic birds. The hike concludes at a restful, emerald green, tropical lagoon.

The trip begins ascending the breathtaking summit of the Irazú Volcano for a view of the masive crater. On a clear day you can actually see the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans! After our visit to the Basílica de Los Angeles we will drive to the Lankester Gardens. The Lankester Gardens are a Tropical Paradise featuring over 800 varieties of exotic orchids, various tropical flowers, and plant life. This tour continues with a ride through the unique beauty of the famous Orosi Valley and Reventazón River. The area is noted for its rich soil, abundant plant life, and the outstanding coffee plantations. The first day we will have the same exciting activities as the One Day Arenal Volcano by Night and Hot Springs Tour. In addition, we will spend the night, Lagos, Montaña de Fuego, or Tabacón Lodge (which charges an additional fee). The second day*, after an excellent breakfast, we will take a boat to go through the impressive Rio Frio and the splendid Caño Negro Lagoon -having the opportunity to observe different species of flora and fauna. We will have a delicious box lunch while we are still in the lagoon. Horseback Ride
The first day we will do the same attractive activities that are planned for the One Day Arenal Volcano by Night & Hot Springs tour. We will spend the night in the Comfortable chosen hotel (Arenal Paraíso, Arenal Country Inn, San Bosco, Montaña de Fuego, or Tabacón Lodge which charges an additional fee). The second day after breakfast, we will take a pleasing horseback ride from downtown La Fortuna SE 3.4 miles (1½ hour aprox.) to the place where the horses rest. The first day we will have the same activities that are scheduled for the One Day Arenal Volcano by Night & Hot Springs tour. We will spend the night in a comfortable hotel (Arenal Paraíso, Arenal Country Inn, San Bosco, Montaña de Fuego, or Tabacón Lodge which charges an additional fee). The second day, after a good breakfast, we will begin the arduous mountain bike ride at the Arenal Dam (the operator is Aventuras Arenal). This tour will be perfect for those who enjoy to ride to the forest, volcano and the Arenal Lake areas.
